James Latter is known to be a Board-games Master and he’s no exception when it comes to mortgage applications and excellent customer service!
James is an excellent Paraplanner. He works closely with Financial Advisers Mark Townson, Dan Mallery and Derek Brice, supporting clients and delivering efficient administration support.
We’ve asked James some questions so you can get to know him a little better. Read on to find out more…
1. What did you do for a job before coming to work with 2mtrust?
I spent a decade working in support-type roles - in addiction and mental health services
2. What do you like to do outside of work?
Involved in a local church, playing football and board games (of course) as well as going out for Asian food with friends!
3. What has been your favourite holiday so far?
Visiting my wife’s family and second home in Singapore - with the bonus of good food and sun!
4. What is your favourite meal of the day?
Dinner as I get to eat with my two young boys - the messiest but also most enjoyable meal
5. Do you have a favourite food?
Anything Asian that takes me back to a trip away
A few favourites would be Nasi Lemak, Korean BBQ or sushi
6. What is your favourite film, tv show or book and why?
Destiny: learning to live by preparing to die
It helped me to really enjoy more fully the good and simple things I have in life
7. What is your favourite season and why?
Summer, more opportunities to get out and about with family friends. Especially as I live in Scotland
8. Do you have a life/family motto?
“Develop success from failures. Discouragement and failure are two of the surest stepping stones to success”
9. What advice would you give your teenage self?
Get a haircut!
10. What is (or what would be) your karaoke song?
I really enjoy film scores so not sure how that would work at karaoke!
