Getting to Know Tim Longton

Tim Longton entered into the wonderful world of financial services when he joined the 2mtrust team as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser in 2023. With years of experience in the business world and the technology sector, Tim has a plethora of knowledge to bring to the table and enjoys helping his clients with their financial planning.

I was a Director and Chief Operating Officer of a technology company I have been involved in technology and had several high-profile positions since leaving full time education.

I play the trumpet and have done since about 10 years of age, I once played backing music for a TV ad.

I also enjoy cars, especially classics… I have had a few.

We went as a family to New York, Las Vegas and Florida for over three weeks, it was an amazing holiday!

I have a Chocolate Labrador called Zak.

He still thinks he is a puppy and likes to sit on your lap!

I like Chinese food - Special Curry Fried rice and Pancake rolls are my favourite

Mission Impossible Rogue nation, I have watched it loads of times!

I love Summer, I love the sun shining and warmth, you just feel happier. I'm sure I should have been born somewhere hotter than here!

Listen more to your parents - I give my sons the same advice!

I would say a song by Mac Davis that goes “Oh Lord it's hard to be humble when you are perfect in every way… I can’t wait to look in the mirror, I get better looking each day, to know me is to love me…” You get the picture…
