Financial Armour Checklist

A Knight was traditionally tasked with the honour of protecting a kingdom and it’s citizens on behalf of the Crown. In order to do their job effectively and fulfil their duty, they needed armour and to keep it well-maintained and ready to use at any moment should danger arise.

With this in mind - and on theme with St George’s Day - we’re asking an important question:

Take a look at the checklist below to see if you are missing any of these vital pieces of “Financial Armour"

🛡️ Emergency Fund

🛡️ Insurance

🛡️ Pension Plan

🛡️ Will & Power of Attorney*

Is your financial armour sufficient to protect you (and your family) should you need the support in the future?

It’s important to review your financial planning and protection plans to ensure they are sufficient as you journey and grow through life events etc – we’re talking job changes or promotions, moving house or surprise inheritances. These are all important to discuss with your Financial Adviser.

Looking at the bigger picture with your Financial Adviser enables you to see gaps in your current financial planning and protection plans as well as track progress long-term – for example you may start with a mortgage and then find you need to adjust your Insurance Policy to cover your lovely new home and lifestyle.

Education, clarification, trust and strong relationships are at the heart of 2mtrust and our team of friendly Financial Advisers and their Paraplanners all work together to find appropriate solutions for you and your family – all with the aim to give you peace of mind that you are financially resilient and adequately protected for the future.

We love to help our clients with mortgages, protection, pensions and investments (and wills*) and provide a holistic approach to financial planning.

Financial planning doesn’t have to be complicated but it is important to keep it maintained and in check.

Appointments can be online or in-person – it’s never been as easy to meet with your adviser!

No question is too silly and you’re probably not the first person to ask.

Our Financial Advisers have a track record of helping each individual client understand their money and plan for their dreams, goals and financial future. From buying your first home, protecting your lifestyle and retirement planning, we are here to celebrate those milestones and navigate the rollercoaster of life.

So, are you missing anything from the Financial Armour Checklist?

Or do you need to “polish” and check over your existing financial armour?

If yes, contact your 2mtrust Financial Adviser to book an appointment and discuss appropriate solutions so your armour is strong, polished and ready should you need it.
